As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for all. Pay Rate : $23.10 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Wed 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Fri 10 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.

Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering the premises.

Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and provide assistance to employees and visitors as needed.

Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client protocols.

Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when required.

Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and comply with all applicable regulations and company policies regarding armed posts.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state and / or local regulations.

Have at least six months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
