What You’ll Do

  • Perform routine and unscheduled maintenance and repair of commercial HVAC systems, including chillers (air-cooled and centrifugal), cooling towers, pumps, AHUs, VAVs, valves, and fan coil units
  • Diagnose and repair defects in electronic, mechanical, and electrical components related to chillers and HVAC systems
  • Inspect and test system components for efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards
  • Conduct preventive maintenance, installations, retrofits, and troubleshooting of chiller and refrigeration equipment
  • Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to perform repairs and system assessments
  • Provide excellent customer service through professional, on-site interactions
  • Adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements in all work performed

    • What We’re Looking For

  • Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
  • Active EPA Certification
  • 2+ years’ experience in a commercial HVAC setting with chillers
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred
  • Technical training in HVAC or Refrigeration preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours and participate in on-call shifts as needed

  • Language Skills – Able to read instructions, write service notes, and explain issues and solutions clearly to customers
  • Math Skills – Proficient in basic math, ratios, and calculations related to system performance
  • Reasoning Ability – Able to apply sound judgment, follow written / oral instructions, and solve problems in standard situations
  • Physical Demands – Regularly lift / move up to 50 lbs.; job requires standing, climbing, kneeling, and crawling as needed
