Summary

We have a Senior Controls Engineer position available in Albuquerque, NM. This role provides leadership in delivering automation systems for a variety of industries. The position requires technical proficiency with PLC, DCS, HMI, and SCADA platforms and includes customer interaction, team leadership, system design, programming, and commissioning of control systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and commissioning of industrial automation systems, including PLC, DCS, HMI, and SCADA solutions
• Develop control system architecture, component selection, schematic diagrams, and system documentation
• Program controllers using Ladder, Sequential Function Chart, Structured Text, and other languages
• Develop process visualization (HMI / SCADA), databases, and historical data reporting systems
• Design, detail, and implement fiber, wired, and wireless industrial networks using protocols such as Ethernet / IP, Profinet, and Modbus
• Provide technical leadership on standards for graphics, alarming, and scale-up
• Lead and mentor lower-level engineers and technicians; act as technical lead or Project Manager on smaller projects
• Troubleshoot field devices, equipment, and automation systems
• Participate in project management activities, including scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and ensuring project profitability
