Physiatrist Independent 1099

Overview

Concentra, one of the largest healthcare companies in the nation, seeks a Physiatrist / Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist to work as a 1099 independent contractor on site. The role is intended as a partnership supplement to current practice; a typical partnership involves treating patients on site at Concentra for approximately a 4‑hour shift on a weekly or biweekly basis.

Concentra Advanced Specialists assist in the management of medically complex patients, expedite return to work, and facilitate functional restoration. Working collaboratively with medical and therapy providers, you will provide specialist services—potentially including EMGs and NCS—for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work‑related injuries. You will also communicate with employers and participate in case management. The treatments you provide make a tremendous difference in patients’ lives.

Responsibilities

• Half a day per week or biweekly.
• Treat patients on site at Concentra for approximately a 4‑hour shift on a weekly or biweekly basis.
• Flexible scheduling with consideration of your private practice.
• Independent contractor role; compensation determined by a revenue‑share model.
