Responsibilities Work in a 10-bed Level II NICU within a hospital setting in Northwest Colorado Unit also includes 5 labor rooms and 5 postpartum rooms Care for neonates 32 weeks and older, including postpartum couplets Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19 : 00-07 : 30) on various days of the week Five weekend night shifts required per month On-call responsibilities as needed per unit requirements Floating to like units required; independent work in NICU and postpartum care expected Epic EMR is utilized RN must be able to work independently in the NICU and provide care for postpartum couplets during low census First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment No blocked scheduling requests permitted Only 10 days of requested time off (RTO) are allowed per 13-week contract, and RTO is not permitted during specified blackout dates Candidates must secure housing before consideration Pre-employment online modules and in-person orientation required Requirements Active CO or compact RN license required Minimum of 2 years recent Level II NICU experience Experience in newborn transition nursing and postpartum care required Current NRP certification required; STABLE preferred Must not have been employed by UCHealth or its affiliates within the past two years Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-635017.
