About The Position

Job Title : Radiologic Tech

Profession : Radiologic Tech

Specialty : X-Ray

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Two (2) years current experience required in the specialty

License : NM RRT state licensing required

Certifications : Current BLS; ARRT (R); ARRT (CT) preferred

Must-Have :

• Must be a team player
• Must be flexible and accustomed to a fast-paced environment
• Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment

Description :

Floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles is required.

Performs diagnostic medical radiography.

Participates in CIT teams as necessary.

Is knowledgeable regarding hospital policies and procedures.

Maintains established department policies, procedures, objectives, and quality assurance.

Ensures safety protocols are followed.

Performs radiographic examinations.

Checks equipment, supplies, and accessories on a regular basis.

Required to maintain a stock of supplies for each radiography room.

Develops film and evaluates it for technical quality.

Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work areas.

Transports patients to radiographic rooms and prepares and maintains those rooms.

Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops.

Attends meetings as required.
