Job descriptionAssignment Type Coverage Schedule Option for 12-hour shifts several days per week Flexible scheduling tailored to your availability Patient Load Average of 36 new inpatient consults per day Call Requirements Response time : 20 minutes Average call volume : 36 phone consults and 510 patients seen per 24 hours Type EMR System Trauma Level Credentialing Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, variceal injection, and foreign body removal Colonoscopy with biopsy and excision of polyps ERCP (preferred but not required) Small bowel biopsy and PEG placement Esophageal and lower GI endoscopies Support Team No supervision or teaching responsibilities Licensing Certifications Travel and Lodging Provide vital care in a scenic area near Prosser, WA Work in a supportive environment with readily available anesthesia and modern facilities Opportunity to customize your schedule with flexible shifts
We are seeking a skilled Gastroenterologist for an ongoing locum tenens assignment near Prosser, WA . This exciting opportunity offers flexibility and competitive compensation for those looking to provide essential care in a dynamic inpatient setting.

Locum Tenens Call Only
Up to 3 weeks per month of 24-hour call coverage
58 procedures daily, including up to 5 elective outpatient procedures
24-hour beeper call
Practice Setting
Inpatient only no outpatient requirements
Epic (training provided)
III
Temporary privileges available; expected timeframe is 6090 days
Skills and Procedures Required
Additional Details
2 RNs, 1 MA, and 1 NP / PA available
Must hold a valid WA license or be eligible under the IMLC
Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology; ACLS required
Vendor-provided; nearest airports include Yakima Air Terminal and Tri-Cities Airport
