What You'll Do : Manage access control at residential locations, checking identification and / or credentials for residents, visitors, and contractors. Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity. Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting residents, visitors, and guests with directions and information. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of the property and perimeter to observe and report any irregularities or security-related concerns. Document all activities, observations, and incidents in detailed written reports according to Allied Universal protocols. Communicate promptly with supervisors and / or law enforcement when security-related issues arise. Follow all site-specific policies, procedures, and post orders as directed by management. Minimum Requirements : Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and provide proof as required by the client. Access control and / or badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred.
