Overview :

Direct Counsel is representing an AmLaw 100 firm seeking a highly qualified associate to join its Energy Regulatory and Markets Group, which operates within the broader Project Development & Finance practice, in the Washington, D.C. office.

Qualifications :

Minimum of 3 years of federal energy regulatory experience

Substantial experience practicing before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), specifically in matters related to power and / or natural gas

Experience at a national or international law firm

Strong academic credentials and excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills
