Position Summary

The Disaster Long-Term Recovery Director will lead and coordinate post-disaster recovery efforts in South Central Georgia working closely with nonprofit faith-based governmental and community partners. This position will oversee the mobilization of financial resources materials and volunteers; coordinate with case management teams to assess client needs; and manage logistics for volunteer housing food and operations. The Director will be the central point of contact for groups seeking to assist in the regions recovery ensuring an organized efficient and compassionate response that supports affected individuals and communities.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership & Coordination

• Serve as the primary liaison between South Central Georgia COAD partner organizations and incoming volunteer groups.
• Coordinate with local state and national agencies nonprofits and faith-based groups to align recovery efforts.
• Develop collaborative relationships with community stakeholders to ensure needs are met efficiently.

Fundraising & Resource Development
