We are seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Engineering Team Lead to guide a group of engineers in delivering high-quality design solutions for a variety of commercial, industrial, energy, water / wastewater, and community projects throughout the Midwest. This leadership role requires a proactive individual with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of civil engineers and designers, overseeing day-to-day project execution and team performance.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams across multiple disciplines including Surveying, Geotechnical, Structural, Traffic, Transportation, and Environmental Engineering.
• Oversee and review the development of construction documents, including plan sets, specifications, and bid packages.
• Manage complete site civil design for private development projects, including site layout, grading, utility and SWPP plans.
• Oversee preparation of feasibility studies, due diligence reports, zoning analyses, stormwater modeling and design, cost estimates, and detailed engineering plans.
• Perform and review design calculations, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Lead communication with clients and reviewing agencies to resolve comments and ensure smooth project approvals.
• Foster a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
