Building Engineer

Our client, a leader in research and facility management, is seeking a Building Engineer to join their team. As a Building Engineer, you will be part of the Facilities Operations supporting the maintenance and safety of the building systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range : Compensation is based on experience and qualifications

What's the Job?

• Monitor various building automation system computers to ensure systems operate within specified parameters such as temperature, humidity, static pressure, and electrical current.

Respond to system alerts by following documented procedures to protect equipment, personnel, and ongoing research activities.

Monitor energy efficiency of building systems and implement improvements where possible.

Assist electrical, mechanical, and control system technicians in troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues.

Oversee additional site systems, including fire monitoring and research-oriented systems like QUN, Schneider, Siemens, and EcoStructure.

What's Needed?

Strong troubleshooting skills and technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems.

Ability to follow detailed procedures and documentation.

Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.

Availability to work Monday through Friday, 7 am to 3 : 30 pm, with no mandatory overtime.
