Job description4.5-day schedule (Monday-Thursday clinic; Friday optional for procedures) Call is a 1 : 3 rotation with 7 days of call per month maximum Minimal call volume; rare after-hours call-ins Guaranteed base salary of $600,000, plus wRVU production bonuses. Total earning potential exceeds $900,000 Up to $1,000 / month for student loan forgiveness Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, malpractice coverage, and retirement 5 CME days annually with a $5,000 allowance Decatur offers a low cost of living with very affordable housing options, making it an ideal location for families and professionals Known as the "River City," Decatur sits along the Tennessee River, providing stunning views and endless outdoor activities such as boating, fishing, hiking, and biking in nearby Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge Decatur has excellent schools, a great arts and music scene, and numerous festivals throughout the year Located driving distance from Huntsville, Top 10 Best city to live according to US news.

Gastroenterology Role in AL - Light Call
A healthcare facility in Alabama is looking for a Gastroenterologist to join their team! This position offers the chance to work in a supportive, patient-centered environment where you can make a meaningful impact on the community.
Practice Setting
- Not-for-profit, 280+ bed Level 3 community hospital serving the surrounding areas
- Join a team of GI providers, including 1 GI Hospitalist and 2 seasoned Nurse Practitioners
- Access to state-of-the-art equipment, including Olympus scopes in and advanced imaging services onsite
- Modern clinic with 3 exam rooms, private physician office, and nearby lab
Schedule
1.5 Clinic Days, 3 Procedural Days (Flexible scheduling)
Compensation & Benefits
$75k sign-on bonus
200 PTO hours annually, including federal holidays
