As a Security Officer Unarmed Healthcare Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at a dynamic healthcare location. Your responsibilities include conducting regular patrols, staying visible throughout the premises, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a healthcare environmentRespond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locationsConduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or security-related concernsObserve and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or emergencies to appropriate personnel and / or law enforcement as directedAssist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and helping to maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitorsSupport emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific protocolsMaintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and / or security-related observations as required by Allied Universal and client policiesWhat We're Looking For :

Minimum Requirements :
Must have at least 6 months of security-related experienceMust provide proof of high school diploma or General Education DiplomaCustomer service experience is preferredA valid guard card or license is preferredComfortable using a computer or tablet is preferredBe at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed rolesPossess a high school diploma or equivalentAs a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local lawsAllied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable lawsAs a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by lawLicensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employmentA valid driver's license will be required for driving positions onlyWhy Join Us :
