As a Security Officer Unarmed Healthcare Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at a dynamic healthcare location. Your responsibilities include conducting regular patrols, staying visible throughout the premises, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to staff, patients, and visitors. Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $18.26 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Mon : 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Fri : 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sat : 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sun : 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a healthcare environment
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or security-related concerns
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or emergencies to appropriate personnel and / or law enforcement as directed
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and helping to maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific protocols
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and / or security-related observations as required by Allied Universal and client policies

    Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience
  • Must provide proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma
  • Customer service experience is preferred
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
