full time Director of Radiology Operations position available.

The Director of Radiology Operations is responsible for leading and managing all clinical operations within PENRAD Imaging. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services, compliance with regulatory standards, and the implementation of best practices in patient care. The Director will oversee a multidisciplinary team and work collaboratively with administrative and medical leadership to drive operational excellence and clinical innovation.
Essential FunctionsClinical Leadership and Staff Management: - Directly supervises the Leads of each radiology modality. Indirectly supervises the clinical radiology staff within each department.
Operational Oversight: - Manages daily clinical operations across all imaging modalities.
- Optimizes patient throughput and resource allocation.
Quality and Compliance: - Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., HIPAA, OSHA, MQSA, CMS, and Joint Commission, where applicable).
- Oversees ACR accreditation process.
Strategic Planning and Financial Management: - Develops systems for supply ordering, continuously exploring opportunities for expense reduction.
- Participates in budgeting and financial planning for clinical services, communicating departmental capital and operational needs to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Patient Experience & Advocacy: - Promotes a patient-centered approach to care.
- Monitors and resolves patient and provider concerns, ensuring a positive experience throughout the imaging process, performing service recovery, when necessary.
Education / Experience / Licensure / Certification: Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master's preferred) with at least 5 years of progressive leadership experience. BLS certification required.
Desirable or Special Qualifications: Master's Degree preferred. Active clinical licensure or certification (e.g., ARRT, RN) preferred.
