House-Keeping Associate (Part Time)

Pooch Hotel Newton is hiring a Part-Time Housekeeping Associate to join our team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our pet care facility. This role is essential to ensuring a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for our canine guests.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Thorough cleaning and sanitizing of dog suites, playrooms, and common pet areas
  • Restocking housekeeping supplies and ensuring all areas are guest-ready
  • Handling and disposing of animal waste properly and hygienically
  • Monitoring laundry rotation and maintaining fresh bedding, towels, mop heads, cots, and all other items needed for daily dog care
  • Supporting odor control and detailed cleaning of corners, surfaces, and high-traffic zones

What We're Looking For :

  • Strong attention to detail and an eye for "nooks and crannies"
  • Comfortable with cleaning up after dogs, including urine, feces, and vomit when necessary
  • Excellent time management and ability to work efficiently with limited supervision
  • Strong communication skills are mandatory this role requires reporting any concerns observed regarding a dog's physical condition, wellbeing, or emotional / behavioral state so appropriate care can be taken
  • Reliability and consistency in maintaining cleanliness standards
  • Previous experience in animal care, janitorial, or kennel environments is a plus

    • This role plays a vital part in our team's daily operations and in supporting the overall health and happiness of our canine guests.

    Work Environment / Physical Demands :

    Move throughout the resort for up to 6-8 hours

    Being able to lift and move 40 lbs.

    Understand and respond to team members' and guests' requests in a loud environment

    Bend, stoop, and reach in order to run and load dogs, serve customers, and clean the resort
