Job Summary:
RiverTech is looking for a Modeling and Simulation Systems Engineer (Part-Time) with emphasis on Space mission sets associated with Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) hosted by the 705th Combat Training Squadron (USAF) at Kirtland AFB, NM. This is a liaison position between the 392nd Combat Training Squadron (USSF) located in Colorado Spring, CO and the 705th Combat Training Squadron located in Albuquerque, NM. This position is considered Part Time On-call with an estimated workload of approximately 20 hours per week. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
Designs and implements simulation solutions for company modeling applications.
Analyzes test results to configure model parameters and materials.
Identifies development problems and provides technical solutions backed by analysis.
Develops product documentation for designs and test procedures.
Generates and maintains diagrams for simulation hardware.
Develops engineering calculation programs to support simulations.
Performs work under minimal supervision.
Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in modeling and simulation methodologies.
Minimum of 10 years of military experience with USSF and USAF space mission areas, and the ability to develop and implement scenarios that meet the desired learning objectives of DMO participants.
Bachelor's Degree from a . accredited institution.
Must be a US citizen with an active SECRET clearance and be able to obtain a TOP SECRET clearance with SCI Eligibility.
Ability and willingness to travel to approximately 3 exercises per year or 9 weeks between Colorado Springs CO and Albuquerque NM.
