DevOps Engineer - Fairfax or Denver

DevOps Engineer - Top Secret Clearance required

Ramtec LLC & SSA LLC have a need for a DevOps Engineer to support a Federal Program. This is a direct?hire role with our client, a fast?growing Federal Integrator. An active Top?Secret Clearance is required; the position will sponsor for a CI Polygraph level clearance.

Responsibilities

Work in a fast paced environment to assist in migration and deployment of applications in an on?prem cloud infrastructure. Provide assistance to application developers creating deployments, standing up common services and recommending solutions for maximizing efficient use of hardware resources. Be familiar with and have experience with the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) tools and software.

Technical Requirements

• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, containers, etc.)
• Experience with application deployment using CI / CD (GitLab, Jenkins, etc.)
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
• Experience with storage provisioning (OpenEBS, Gluster, etc.) along with data backup and restore
• Experience with Linux (CentOS desired)
• Experience with several programming languages (dynamic and compiled)
• Experience with building automation tools for repetitive tasks
• Experience with metrics (Elastic, etc.)

Desired Skills

Education

BS in Computer Science or equivalent.

Clearance

Active TS / SCI clearance and be willing to eventually obtain a CI Polygraph level clearance.
