OVERVIEW
The Sample Coordinator role is at the heart center, ensuring all meetings, photoshoots and assets best represent Alo’s excellence. In this role you will have a keen attention to detail, work well under urgent deadlines, and have a winning, can-do spirit.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- SAMPLES Organize and manage all accessories samples across multiple seasons, up to 8 seasons at one timeMaintain & manager sample closetFacilitate samples being borrowed between departments : check- out, check-in system.Clear communication where samples are at all timesCoordinate dates to ensure samples are available for key meetings and shoots in advance of meeting dateCommunicate to cross-functional teams the differences between SMS and production via change logCoordinate with technical design team to borrow proto or fit samples accordingly.
- STYLE OUT – IN-LINE AND SPECIAL PROJECTS Provide samples in delivery order for styleoutProvide ETA and status of late SMSPrevent using styles that photo team will not be able to retouchTake notes as needed and send recapsOrganize samples on a daily basis for multiple meetings that take place at the same time on same day
- BUSINESS ALIGNMENT / MERCH / BUY AND SALES MEETINGS Manage Sample handover from Product development to MerchandisingOrder additional samples needed for efficient meetings and if / when logos change locationCreate large CADS of missing samplesAssist during presentation by hanging, disassembling samples and note takingMake 4ups for the team sharing which samples are here or not with ETA’s
- CAD WORK Create CAD pages for multiple teams / teammates at a fast pace, and often under tight timelinesCAD pages consist of, but not limited to : Category pages per season, missing samples, BoardsCreate visual seasonal tools to help guide cross-functional teams
REQUIREMENTS
1-2 years of experienceBA preferred but not requiredStrong time management skillsExcellent attention to detailOrganizational and operational skillsCommunicate effectivelyIllustrator CAD work requiredExcelThe base salary range for this position is $65,000-$67,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
