Treasury Analyst

The Treasury Analyst is responsible for assisting the Treasury department in managing the companys liquidity and partnering with outside advisors to manage the investment portfolios. The role is responsible for recording and reporting cash and investment activity in compliance with accounting regulations. The Treasury Analyst will help ensure that the companys financial resources are efficiently allocated and help mitigate financial risks.

Salary Range $60,000 - $75,000

The base pay offered for this position may vary within the posted range based on your job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Hybrid Work Location

This position will be hybrid, having the regional availability to come in our Office on a day or two a week cadence. Our office location : WPS Corporate Center Building - 1717 W. Broadway in Madison, WI. Onsite work will be tailored for team cohesion, strategy, planning and collaboration.

In this role you will :

• Monitor daily cash flow, income, liability obligations, and assets to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
• Support the Financial Planning team on the development of cash flow forecasts.
• Develop, monitor, and analyze bank fees including credit card and cash management expenses.
• Support corporate accounting and financial planning as they relate to Treasury transactions and entity structures.
• Serve as Treasury Liaison with the companys business units for the setup of bank accounts, services, and resolution of bank inquiries and related matters.
• Develop and maintain positive banking relationships with depository banks.
• Adhere to month end schedules for reconciliations of all cash and investment related accounts, all month-end processes, and all related journal entries.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash positioning reports.
• Provide support for both internal and external audits.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual investment compliance and performance reporting.
• Assist with presentation materials for Executive Leadership, Board of Directors, and regulatory bodies.
