Patient Care Technician for Dialysis

Key Responsibilities :

• Patient Care : Provide safe, comfortable, and high-quality care during dialysis treatment. This includes gathering patient stats before and after treatment, initiating and monitoring treatment, and collecting blood samples per physician orders.
• Technician Duties : Prepare machines for hemodialysis, clean and disinfect them post-treatment, and conduct routine safety checks while logging results to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Safety and Quality : Implement appropriate safety measures, including the use of personal protective equipment, while adhering to company policies and state / federal regulations.
• Participate in staff meetings and continue your education to stay informed about best practices in patient care.

Qualifications :

All applicants must successfully complete the USRC training program approved by the Medical Director, including a hemodialysis course, within 8 weeks of hire. CPR certification is required within 90 days of hire, and you must obtain Patient Care Technician certification within 18 months of your start date, maintaining it thereafter.
