The SmarTrip Mobile app is a third-party developed Mobile app in the iOS andAndroid platform for SmarTrip account management and transit productpurchases. The SmarTrip Mobile App was first released in the iOS platform inSeptember of 2020 and the Android platform was released in June 2021. This project is for the onboarding of staff to support the implementation of theSmarTrip Mobile App 2.0 by providing application integration and deployment toinclude development; configuration and testing; and deployment of the code toproduction environments for the applicable SmarTrip components anddependencies.

Experience :

Bachelors Degree Two (2) years of experience performing the duties identified above in an informationtechnology operation; and

Three (3) years of experience leading complex web application projects in an Agilesoftware development methodology with proven skill in utilizing Agile SDLC toolssuch as Cloud JIRA JIRA Confluence TestRail Bamboo and Bitbucket to manageand control project tasks and delivery.

5 years or more of application hands-onexperience

Duties :

Oversee the day-to-day responsibility of managing in-scope Web Applicationsproject.

Coordinate project team activities with other teams and senior management.

Communicate with sponsoring organizations to assist in needs assessment andfunctional specs.

Draft specifications and develop work plan definitions.

Manage tasks overall deliverables and status tracking.

Apply best practices and agile project management methodologies appropriate tothe project scope.

Develop and manage the project schedule using MS Project.

Provide status reports and modify schedules or plans as required.

Prepare project reports for management clients and others.

Confer with project team members to provide technical advice and resolveproblems.

Hold regular project meetings with stakeholders to monitor progress andcommunicate actions required.

Proactively solve problems to ensure milestones are met and projects arecompleted on time and within budget.

Conduct and evaluate post-mortems to improve future projects.

Manage project issues revise plans as necessary and communicate changes toproject team members.

Maintain close contact with project sponsors; ensuring shared vision stakeholderbuy-in and project support.

Successfully complete mandatory WMATA security awareness training on annualbasis.

Review and assist with system hardening and vulnerability remediation.

Oversee the process for conducting mandatory peer code reviews with developersas part of the code commitment process to ensure that secure coding practices arebeing followed before code is merged into the main development branch. Documentthose pull request reviews in Bitbucket.
