Patient Account Representative

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative I.

Key Responsibilities

Handle billing for hospital and physician claims, ensuring compliance with insurance time filing limits

Perform follow-up with third-party payors to obtain payment and resolve patient accounts

Maintain patient accounts and respond to inquiries regarding billing and claims

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

Associate Degree in Health Care, Finance, or related area preferred

Working knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding

One year of experience in hospital financial or patient services preferred
