Join Our Surgical Team!

Are you ready to make a difference in the operating room? We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist I to join our dynamic team at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center. In this full-time, evening shift role, you will play a vital part in providing optimal patient care during surgical procedures.

Major Responsibilities :

Ensure the operating room is clean, safe, and conducive to patient care.

Utilize aseptic techniques to prepare surgical materials, instruments, and supplies.

Assist in maintaining a sterile field and anticipate the needs of the surgical team.

Operate and return surgical equipment post-procedure and report any issues.

Transport patients and maintain specialized carts to ensure readiness.

Demonstrate knowledge and skills to care for patients of all age groups.

Qualifications :

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months of hire.

No prior experience required – we welcome new talent!

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift patients and equipment, maintain a fast-paced environment, and follow safety protocols.

Must be able to withstand exposure to various working conditions, including mechanical and electrical hazards.
