Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical

Location : Battle Creek, MI

Shift : Nights | 3x12-Hour (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM)

Start Date : October 20, 2025

⏳ Contract Length : 13 Weeks

Pay Rate : $52 / hr

Position Overview

Protouch Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Medical Surgical unit team. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses to provide quality patient care in a collaborative hospital environment.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a Medical / Surgical unit
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and treatments
Float to other Med / Surg units as needed
Work every other weekend

Requirements

Active Michigan RN License

BLS (AHA) certification

Minimum 1 year Med / Surg RN experience (2+ years preferred)

Comfortable working with RNs, LPNs, and Techs

Flexible and adaptable to different unit needs

Unit & Patient Details

Unit : General Medical

Patient Ratios : 1 : 5-6 nights (may flex to 8 with LPN support)

Patient Types : Ortho / Neurovascular, Cardio / Pulmonary, GI, Urology, Hysterectomies, Mastectomies

Environment : Collaborative team with strong interdisciplinary support

Additional Information

Flu Vaccine : Required (medical exemptions only)

COVID-19 Vaccine : Not required

Compensation

Base Rate : $52 / hr
