Responsibilities Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting Night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM Two 13-hour call shifts are required per 6-week schedule, with onsite response required within one hour Level 1 Trauma patient population Uses EPIC for documentation Performs comprehensive patient assessments and develops individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare providers and families Implements and modifies care plans based on continuous evaluation and patient needs Maintains accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care Promotes safety by identifying and reporting hazards in the work environment Fosters a collaborative team-oriented environment and provides constructive peer feedback RTO must not exceed 7 days in a 13-week contract Candidates cannot work more than one consecutive year at the facility without a 6-month break Travel partners are not accepted for this position Requirements Active Illinois RN license or temporary license in good standing Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association Minimum of one year of relevant nursing experience in an Emergency Department setting Documented experience working in a Level 1 Trauma environment EPIC EMR experience required Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-641034.
