LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE - WOMEN`S HEALTH

Jamaica Hospital's Department of Women's Health Services provides a comprehensive array of Women's Health and OB / GYN services. Our specially trained staff of doctors offer expert diagnosis and treatment options for multiple forms of gynecological cancers, as well as services to treat other complications. Our staff are passionate about meeting the needs of women in our community. We are currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses with experience in Women's Health (preferred) for immediate full-time opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Selected candidates will administer care to patients of all ages, gender, and ailments.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE :

• Documenting nursing observations, interventions, and patient's response to treatment
• Performing vital signs, administering medications, performing electrocardiograms, and assisting with scheduling appointments when needed.
• Collecting specimens and performing phlebotomy for lab tests.
• Collecting and performing Point of Care Testing (POCT).
• Reviewing and maintaining vaccine documentation.
