AdventHealth Kansas City, a leading faith based not for profit health system, is searching for an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant to serve as a First Assist in cardiovascular / cardiothoracic surgeries, perform endoscopic vein harvesting, round in hospital pre and post-surgery, and follow-up clinic visits at our AdventHealth Shawnee Mission location located in the Kansas City Metro area.

About our Employed Cardiovascular group consists of :

Two cardiothoracic surgeons, 5 interventionalists, 8 Non-Invasive cardiologists, 2 Electrophysiologists, and 14 APPs.

Qualifications

The requirements for this position are :

Physician Assistant Degree

Up to 1 Year of Position-Related Experience

Kansas Physician Assistant Certification / License

BCLS obtained through the American Heart Association

ACLS obtained through the American Heart Association
