Key Responsibilities of the Echo Technician :

Perform high-quality echocardiograms, Doppler studies, and cardiac imaging procedures

Prepare and position patients for optimal imaging

Operate ultrasound equipment and maintain image quality standards

Assist cardiologists by providing accurate, timely diagnostic data

Document findings and update patient records according to facility protocols

Maintain equipment cleanliness, readiness, and safety

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinical staff

Requirements :

Minimum 2 years of Echo Tech / Sonography experience

ARDMS or CCI credentialing in Echocardiography

Current West Virginia licensure (or eligibility, if required)

Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and imaging techniques

Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Excellent patient care and communication skills
