Entry Level Residential Installer

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused

• Low Voltage Security Installation Technician
• to join our team. This role involves

installing and programming security systems for residential customers, ensuring top-quality service and customer satisfaction.

• Key Responsibilities
• Install and program
• Burglar Alarms
• CCTV (IP & Analog)
• DVRs
• , and
• Access Control Systems
• Install window breaks, door units, and smoke detectors
• Troubleshoot signal issues to ensure proper alarm functionality
• Perform daily hands-on field interactions with customers
• Test and verify signals for all equipment
• Train customers on equipment usage and connectivity
• Complete necessary customer paperwork for each job
• Accurately cost all parts used before closing out jobs
• Maintain accurate truck inventory of ADT products
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Achieve
• 90% Goal Attainment
• for completed installations with zero "go-backs"
• Required Skills
• Alarms, Security Systems, CCTV (IP & Analog), Honeywell, DSC
• Low Voltage Wiring, Cable Installation, Crimping, Wire Wrapping
• Troubleshooting and Repair
• Familiarity with HDMI, Coax, Cat5 / Cat6 cabling
• Ability to work in residential environments
• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, adaptable, and solution-oriented
• Ability to think quickly and read non-verbal cues
• Customer-centric attitude with strong problem-solving skills
• Preferred Experience
• Previous experience in installation, construction, or maintenance
• Knowledge of home theater, HVAC, and related systems is a plus
• This is a contract to hire role. While on Contract Candidates will use their own Vehicle.

• Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00 / hr.
