SLED ACCOUNT EXECUTUVE (Gov't & Edu)

As a SLED Account Executive , you'll be the strategic force behind expanding our client's footprint across state and local government agencies. You'll own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close while guiding cross-functional teams and cultivating long-term partnerships that drive measurable outcomes.

  • What You'll Do

  • Own and drive the full sales cycle with state and local government customers
  • Build trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Understand agency goals and align our client's learning platform to their workforce development needs
  • Educate customers on value through jointly defined success criteria and usage insights
  • Lead cross-functional account teams (SEs, BDRs, CSMs) to develop winning strategies
  • Forecast, manage pipeline, and execute mutual buying plans
  • Travel to customer sites and events to deepen relationships and accelerate deals

  • What You'll Bring (Job Requirements for Candidacy)

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales, preferably in SaaS or 3 years with an advanced degree
  • Proven success closing SLED contracts and navigating multi-threaded sales cycles
  • Familiarity with MEDDPICC, Challenger, or other value-based selling frameworks
  • Experience selling multi-year SaaS contracts to C-Suite and senior government leaders
  • Strong business development, prospecting, and pipeline management skills
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication abilities
  • Expert on Solution-Selling, Customer-centric Selling, Strategic Selling, the Challenger sale, Business Impact Selling and / or Value Selling
  • Work Location & Travel

  • Remote position
  • Could travel up to 40%
