• Access to :
• 2 Ambulatory Endoscopy Centers (ASCs) in Guilford County
• 2 hospital locations : High Point Medical Center and Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center
• Collaborative relationship with 20+ faculty physicians at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC
• Practice Expansion :
• The Community GI team is expanding to new medical office locations in Greensboro and Winston-Salem in 2026
• Schedule & Hours :
• Office / Clinic Hours : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM-5 : 00 PM
• Endoscopy Hours : 7 : 00 AM-4 : 00 PM (based on location)
• Clinical Responsibilities :
• Hybrid Case Model :
• GI physician assigned to hospital consults
• Supported by a dedicated inpatient APP
• Procedure Mix :
• Outpatient hospital cases
• Inpatient cases in a dedicated endoscopy department
• Procedures Performed :
• Full range of GI Endoscopy
• Upper (e.g., EGD) and Lower (e.g., Colonoscopy)
• Patient Volume :
• Procedure Days : 15+ patients / day
• Clinic Sessions : 7-10 patients / session
• Call Coverage :
• 1 : 6 nights / weekends at High Point Medical Center
• Daytime hospital work partially covered by a dedicated GI hospitalist
• Call will be equally distributed as the group expands
• Technology & Integration :

Generates draft patient notes

The facility is part of the Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist network, ensuring patients receive high-quality, coordinated care backed by academic medicine.

The clinic features a compassionate team of specialists and support staff dedicated to providing personalized care in a comfortable and accessible setting. Patients benefit from advanced diagnostic tools, telehealth options, and seamless coordination with other specialty services within the health system.
