We are hiring Group Managing Directors in our Business Development Organization, based in our Washington, DC offices.

About the Role :

You will be responsible for leading, coaching, and motivating a team of high-performing Senior Managing Directors who acquire, manage, and grow our most important client relationships at Applecart. In this position, you also will be a strategic partner across our go-to-market organization and the broader company, ensuring data, pipeline, and forecast accuracy so that we can meet our targets and plan the business, getting market feedback to our Product team to improve our solutions, and identifying areas where we can uplevel our go-to-market strategy and tactics.

Our Senior Managing Directors are seasoned domain experts who leverage their deep understanding of our clients' challenges and objectives from their previous work experience. They are responsible for growing revenue by building, managing, and deepening meaningful relationships with C-level executives at Applecart's clients and changing the way Fortune 500 companies manage their brands with their most important stakeholders.

What you'll do :

• Lead and inspire your team to grow Applecart's bookings and revenue to meet and exceed quota attainment
• Coach and strategize with members of your team on specific opportunities and work together with our Enablement team to help your team implement our sales methodologies
• Work with your team to ensure that data regarding opportunities is accurate and up-to-date in our CRM and that deals are in the appropriate stages so that we can accurately forecast the business
• Get out "on the front lines" with members of your team to help them advance opportunities, close deals, and retain and grow revenue with our clients

Experiences and Capabilities You Bring :

This is a hybrid role. Work from home on Monday and Friday and in Applecart's DC office Tuesday through Thursday.

Compensation :

Our compensation package consists of three components : (i) a base salary, (ii) incentive cash compensation tied directly to revenue you generate, and (iii) generous equity compensation that vests over time. An employee in this role who meets their targets will earn $500,000 in combined cash compensation (base and incentive), with a structure that offers the ability to earn significantly in excess of that for exceeding targets. The compensation range provided for this role is specific to candidates located in or relocating to the Washington DC area.
