Overview The Corporate Marketing Internship is an opportunity to learn and develop your web skills by working with the global Corporate Marketing team and technical stakeholders to assist with website updates, content publishing, and optimization initiatives that support brand, product, and corporate communications. Our internship is designed for individuals who are currently enrolled at an accredited college/university and who will be continuing their studies in the fall.
The typical base pay range for this position is USD $34.50 - $42.00 per hour. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Note that compensation listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only.
Responsibilities & Competencies Job Duties - Will have the opportunity to participate in / learn about a global technology brand
- Support HTML, CSS, and light JavaScript updates, as needed
- Assist with content updates and page builds on the Synaptics corporate website (CMS-based
- Implement design updates following brand and UX guidelines
- Help maintain site quality through QA testing, link checks, and basic accessibility reviews
- Assist with SEO best practices, including metadata updates and content optimization, with a focus on generative AI search readiness
- Collaborate with corporate marketing team members on campaign/event landing pages and announcements
- Document web processes and assist with content audits or site cleanups
- Support analytics tracking and reporting (e.g., Google Analytics, basic performance metrics)
Competencies - Experience with Drupal, WordPress, or similar CMS
- Basic knowledge of SEO principles
- Familiarity with web accessibility (WCAG) concepts
- Exposure to corporate or B2B websites
- Interest in marketing, branding, or digital communications
- Well organized with strong attention to detail; proactively ensures work is accurate
- Self-motivated and aptitude to learn quickly
- Positive attitude and work ethic; unafraid to ask questions and explore new ideas
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong sense of professionalism
Qualifications (Requirements)
- Candidates should be seeking a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Digital Media, Marketing Technology, or related field
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (Drupal experience is a plus)
- Basic understanding of responsive design and web standards
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured workflows
- Basic understanding of generative AI search capabilities and website readiness
- Good communication skills and ability to work with non-technical stakeholders
- Able to work independently at times and dedicate a minimum of 20 hours/week
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
- Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including verification of your employment and criminal history
- Must be 18 years of age or older
