Job description
- Job Description : As a Package Handler at UPS, you will be responsible for the physical loading, unloading, and sorting of packages of varying sizes and weights by hand. This role is crucial to ensuring that packages are delivered on time and to the correct destination. You will handle packages in a fast-paced environment, requiring you to lift, push, pull, and carry items throughout your shift. Your primary duties will include scanning packages for tracking purposes, loading them onto delivery vehicles, and unloading them at the appropriate destinations. Attention to detail is key, as you will need to ensure that packages are correctly sorted and handled to prevent damage during transit. This position requires physical stamina, the ability to work efficiently under pressure, and a strong commitment to safety protocols.
