The Image Processor Operator plays a key role in preparing and optimizing digital assets for print production, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the workflow. This position requires technical proficiency in design and prepress software, along with the ability to navigate complex file systems and production tools. Responsibilities include coordinating with multiple departments to support production needs, troubleshoot file issues, and maintain quality standards. The role also involves hands-on work with printing systems and materials to support efficient and high-quality output.
This position is on 1st shift Monday - Friday 7 : 30am - 3 : 30pm
In this position you will :
Conduct comprehensive preflight checks on layout files (travelers) to confirm that all artwork meets technical and quality standards prior to print, identifying and correcting any issues proactively.
Operate and maintain specialized printing equipment, including tasks such as ink mixing, calibration, and application, to ensure consistent output quality and minimize downtime.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in a professional print production or digital imaging environment.
Demonstrated expertise in digital file management, prepress workflows, and print production processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in high-volume environments.
Proficient in both Mac and Windows operating systems, with the ability to troubleshoot cross-platform compatibility issues.
Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, with emphasis on Acrobat, InDesign, and Illustrator for layout preparation, file correction, and output optimization.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
Physically capable of performing job duties, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
Must successfully complete a computer-based assessment, including a typing test (minimum 40 WPM) and a Microsoft Excel proficiency evaluation.
Familiarity with color management systems and large-format printing equipment is a plus.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization.
