This role involves assisting customers, maintaining vehicle appearance, and ensuring a well-organized and clean lot to support the sales team and enhance the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities :
Vehicle Management :
Move vehicles to and from various locations, including the service department, showroom, and lot.Park and organize vehicles on the lot according to dealership standards.Ensure vehicles are clean, polished, and well-presented for customer viewing and test drives.Customer Service :
Greet and assist customers as they arrive, offering guidance and support as needed.Prepare vehicles for test drives, ensuring they are clean, fueled, and ready for customer use.Answer basic inquiries about vehicle inventory and dealership services.Lot Maintenance :
Regularly inspect and maintain the lot to ensure it is free of hazards and debris.Keep track of vehicle inventory and notify the sales team of any issues or discrepancies.Perform routine checks on vehicle condition and report any maintenance needs to the appropriate department.Administrative Support :
Manage vehicle keys, ensuring they are organized and easily accessible.Assist with basic administrative tasks, such as filing paperwork or organizing documentation related to vehicle inventory.Safety and Compliance :
Follow all dealership policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.Adhere to traffic and safety regulations while moving vehicles on and off the lot.Qualifications :
Education : High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience : Previous experience in an automotive dealership or customer service role is a plus, but not required.
Skills :
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent customer service and communication abilities.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Physical Requirements : Ability to stand, walk, and lift to 40 lbs. as needed; must be comfortable working in various weather conditions.
Working Conditions :
