Shipper - Receiver

Job Title : Shipper / Receiver

The Shipper / Receiver is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all products that are received and / or shipped out of a specific location during the assigned shift. During their shift, Shipper / Receivers work together in three main functions of the department : receiving, inventory control and cooler operations and shipping. They will work to company guidelines with respect to quality control, safety, and standard operating procedures to execute an accurate and on-time shipping function under the direction of shipping operations leadership. This position reports to the Shipping & Receiving Manager in charge of a given shift (AM, MID, PM) in Boston.

Responsibilities include :

• Assist with the flow of goods; shipping and receiving of product
• Obtain and process product orders
• Receive, register and distributing packages and letters within the company
• Maintain the company stockroom through organizing, cleaning, and cataloging items
• Assist with large shipments and planning of the logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items
• Keep files of goods shipped and received
• Ensure that the right products are delivered to the right location, on time
• Assist with the assurance that quality, quantity, and customer satisfaction are met
• Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of coolers and warehouse orders
• Tracking and reporting to leadership : back-orders short-list items, and unfulfilled orders
