Job description

Overview

The Miami office of Kubicki Draper is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2+ years of experience in legal research & writing and providing litigation support on insurance coverage matters. Must be an active member of the Florida Bar.

Role Overview

Active Florida Bar membership required; responsible for complex research and analysis, drafting appellate briefs, and drafting / reviewing substantive complex pleadings and motions. Role requires effective communication with team members and clients and the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Complex Research and Analysis
  • Assist with Drafting Appellate Briefs
  • Draft / review substantive complex pleadings and motions
  • Insurance Coverage Analysis

Requirements

  • An active member of the Florida Bar in good standing, Required
  • Strong skills in legal research, writing, and persuasive oral advocacy
  • Judicial Clerkship Preferred
  • Prior Appellate or Insurance Coverage Experience Preferred, But Not Required
