Allied Universal Electronic Monitoring, an Allied Universal Company, is hiring a Regional Sales Manager. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for researching, identifying, and pursuing new sales opportunities within a specific assigned region. The Sales Manager will have a command of all products and services and the ability to effectively demonstrate this to prospective customers. The ultimate goal of the successful Sales Manager is to secure new business as demonstrated by producing fully executed contracts. Extensive travel (up to 50%) is expected and must live within commutable distance from major airport in Milwaukee, Detroit or Minneapolis.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed territory growth targets within established accounts on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Conduct market research and develops a regional strategy for business growth by adding new customers
  • Independently identify and pursue leads for new business at the local, state, and federal level
  • Develop and deliver presentations and demonstrate GPS products and software to a variety of customers and potential customers
  • Provide customer feedback to management and make constructive recommendations on required and / or desired enhancements to products and services
  • Manage Value Added Resellers to insure maximum performance
  • Respond to various requests for proposals, invitations to bid, and other acquisition processes in a complete and timely manner
  • Complete biweekly sales activity reports and sales forecast in a timely and complete manner
  • Work closely with account management staff to ensure existing contract renewal
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, quarterly meetings, and other work-related events

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Experience in developing presentation material, making presentations, conducting training, and managing accounts
  • Minimum of five (5) years of sales, account management, or criminal justice electronic monitoring experience
  • Microsoft Office training a plus
  • Ability to gain a thorough command of and ability to effectively demonstrate all company products and services
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Excellent computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office suite applications
  • Ability to develop and implement effective sales plans
  • Drive to take active role in self-development
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to work and communicate with Engineering, Production, Customer Service and Management staff
  • Ability to work effectively in a sales team environment
  • Highest personal and professional ethics and integrity
  • Proficiency with Sales CRM systems
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Business, Communication, or related field of study
  • Previous experience working with criminal justice agencies
  • Experience in project management and account management

    Medical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, and disability insurance, Enrollment in our company's 401(k) plan, subject to eligibility requirements, Ten paid holidays annually, accrued sick time up to 200 hours max, Five PTO Days, Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly. Unused vacation is only paid out where required by law.
