Tiello has partnered with a highly successful mechanical contractor in the Raleigh, NC area who is targeting a lead HVAC technician.
Job Title : HVAC Technician
Project Types : commercial, retail, healthcare, ect.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems and components (commercial / industrial)
- Performing routine preventative maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly.
- Inspecting HVAC systems and their components (e.g. air handlers, chillers, boilers, etc.) to evaluate condition, identify necessary repairs and recommend preventive maintenance.
- Keeping up-to-date with advancements in the field and sharing knowledge with team members.
- Preparing and submitting service reports and other documentation as required.
- Provide technical support for HVAC technicians.
- Develop and implement programming and graphics for new installations and retrofit projects.
- Commission control installations, ensuring control sequences align with scope, design, and specifications.
- Train and support customers and operations staff on system functionality.
- Complete work orders and verify accuracy with customers.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance processes and improve service delivery.
Skills & Qualifications :
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 CertificationCurrent first aid / CPR card.Proficiency with test instruments and calibration tools.Competency in operation of engineering / commissioning tools, DDC controllers and field devices, BACnet protocol fundamentals.Competency in the operation of HVAC equipment and controls.Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
