Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details : \n

  • Operating room nursing position with 1 : 1 patient ratios

    • \n

  • Schedule options available for 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts based on availability

    • \n

  • Set scheduling requirements with minimal floating required

    • \n

  • Work with various surgical and procedural equipment

    • \n

  • Document using Meditech system

    • \n

  • Hospital-laundered scrubs provided by department

    • \n

  • Surgical / procedural experience preferred but not required

    • \n

  • New graduates welcome

    • \n

  • Procedures include abdominal, cardiovascular, orthopedic, neurosurgery, trauma, pediatrics, and many other specialties

    • \n

  • Participate in comprehensive surgical procedures across multiple specialties including robotics, joint replacement, and complex trauma cases

    • \n

  • Work in a friendly, team-based culture with staff ranging from new graduates to 30+ years of experience

    This 343-bed medical center serves as Johnson County's only trauma center designated by the American College of Surgeons, equipped to treat life-threatening injuries 24 / 7. The facility holds numerous prestigious certifications including the Gold Seal of Approval from JCAHO, Advanced Certification in Stroke as a Primary Stroke Center, and Blue Distinction Centers for Knee and Hip Replacement and Maternity Care. The medical center features state-of-the-art technology and comprehensive services including a pediatric emergency department, full cardiac and stroke programs, and extensive surgical specialties with robotics capabilities.
