Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

In this crucial role, you will elevate cybersecurity operations by executing thorough system hardening, vulnerability assessments, and ensuring security compliance with DoD standards. If you possess a strong foundation in cybersecurity and have experience in both Linux and Windows environments within DoD networks, we want to hear from you!

Important Note : This position is contingent upon the award of a contract, anticipated in December 2025.

Clearance Requirement : An ACTIVE Secret clearance is required for this position. Candidates selected will undergo a security investigation and must meet the eligibility criteria for access to classified information. US Citizenship is necessary to obtain a clearance.

Essential Qualifications :

• Deep understanding of computer security, military system specifications, and DoD cybersecurity policies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Possession of one of the following DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level III baseline certifications :
• CASP+ CE
• CCNP Security
• CISA
• CISSP Associate
• CISSP
• GCED
• GCIH
• CCSP

Your Responsibilities Will Include :

Preferred Qualifications : A total of ten years of full-time professional experience in the following areas :

Education : A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering is required.

Compensation : At SimVentions, compensation is based on various factors including experience, education, training, security clearance, skills, and alignment with our corporate plan. The anticipated salary range for this position is $90,000 - $160,000 (USD).
