Colorado State University is seeking a Research Associate I and II to join our team. The successful candidate will be part of a team of researchers completing a federally funded research project and will have a broad range of responsibilities.
Responsibilities include :
- General lab organization and ordering of supplies.
- Management of records associated with compliance with Human or Animal Institutional Review Board protocols and guidelines.
- Recruitment, screening, and testing of human volunteers ranging from 0-95 years of age.
- Exercise testing and training of human volunteers.
- Survey testing of human participants.
- Data collection and subsequent analysis using custom computer programs.
- Data entry and management of electronic data records.
- Statistical analysis.
- Training other personnel in data collection and analysis.
- Supervision of the activities of undergraduate and graduate student research assistants.
- Handling of tissue / blood samples.
- Participation in professional development opportunities as appropriate.
- Writing reports, checking documentation, maintaining inventory, maintaining critical data, ensuring compliance with grant criteria, and supervising administrative support staff.
Required Job Qualifications include :
A bachelor's degree that reflects training in Human Development and Family Studies, Nutrition, Health and Exercise Science, Public Health, or related field for Research Associate I positions.A Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline plus 3 years relevant professional experience or a Master's degree in an appropriate discipline for Research Associate II positions.Preferred Job Qualifications include :
