Registered Nurse (RN), Good Sam 6 / Med-Surg Job Type : Full-time Variable 12 hour shifts w / EOW Up to $20,000 Sign-on Bonus Department / Unit Summary PCU is a 15-18-bed unit. Registered Nurses provide direct day-to-day care of patients and families. Practices to the fullest extent of his / her license following organizational policies. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, functions as a member of the Patient Care Team in collaboration and implementation of the established patient's plan of care. Provides care based upon the age and developmental needs of adult and geriatric patients. Assigned responsibility and accountability for an individual or group of patients during a designated time frame. The nurse provides specialized care consistent with the policies, procedures, and standards of care and designated competencies. The nurse, in conjunction with the Nurse Manager, participates in performance excellence initiatives that are focused on improving patient care and outcomes. Registered Nurses work 12-hour shifts (7A and 7P). Additional requirements include : Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire. ACLS Certification One-year acute care experience or other comparable nursing experience.
