Job descriptionMust be able to read and write Must be familiar with cleaning chemicals and mixtures Must be familiar with floor care equipment Perform other duties as assigned Complete annual education requirements. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Report to work on time and as scheduled. Wear identification while on duty. Maintain regulatory requirements, including all state, federal and local regulations. Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner at all times. Environmental Services Technician (Housekeeping & Janitorial)

Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Cleaning and sanitizing patient rooms and care areas including certain departments in the hospital.
- Floor cleaning and refinishing for hard floors and carpet.
- Collection, packaging and disposal of trash, recyclables, Shred, and biohazard waste.
- Assist in the laundry process as needed.
- Responsible for monitoring mechanical equipment.
- Light snow removal from entryways.
- Demonstrates values and behaviors according to Values Statement.
