Position Summary :
Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse in the Cardio PACU, where you will provide expert, compassionate care for patients recovering from cardiac procedures. As a Registered Nurse, you will utilize your clinical skills and knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while adapting to the unique needs of each patient.
Key Responsibilities :
- Adhere to OneCHRISTUS Competencies, demonstrating leadership in nursing practice.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care based on the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for your patients.
- Address and accommodate the complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families at your practice level.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols, closely monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness.
- Maintain thorough documentation of patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care delivered.
- Identify education needs and provide instructional support to patients, families, and caregivers, utilizing available resources.

Education & Skills :
A Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred.All new hires must complete the New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of employment.Subsequent training will include preceptorship and competency validations specific to Critical Care.Experience :
While one year of experience in a critical care setting is preferred, we welcome applications from new graduates passionate about patient care.Licenses & Certifications :
