Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) opportunity is available for a 6-8 week contract assignment beginning in January. This position focuses on providing specialized occupational therapy services within an elementary school setting, working closely with a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Located in Sterling Heights, MI, this role involves collaborating with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans aimed at enhancing student participation and functional performance in the school environment. The position is ideal for professionals seeking a short-term mitment within a dynamic educational setting.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to students occupational therapy needs.
• Deliver direct therapy services focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily functional activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and monitor student progress according to established guidelines.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of inclusive learning strategies.
