Helpdesk Agent – Onsite Perimeter Area, Atlanta, GA

Long-Term Contract (2–5 Years)

Pay Rate : $18 / hr

Location : 4170 Ashford Dunwoody Road, Atlanta, GA

Start Date : November 17

A leading client in the Atlanta area is seeking a Helpdesk Agent to provide phone-based technical support for retail store locations and sales representatives. This is a 100% onsite role. Candidates must be fully available to work evenings and weekends .

Responsibilities

  • Provide phone support for POS terminals, network issues, and PC troubleshooting
  • Assist with wireless number porting and local number portability (training provided)
  • Troubleshoot remotely using tools like TeamViewer
  • Document all activity in ServiceNow ticketing system
  • Support retail dealers with RQ POS system access and subscriber tasks (activations, payments, upgrades, etc.)
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Day-to-Day Tasks

  • Walk users through IP address setup and basic network configuration
  • Explain technical issues clearly to non-technical personnel
  • Coordinate with Tier 2 support when needed
  • Maintain adherence to schedule and call management protocols
  • Support store configuration, equipment replacement, and firewall / ISP troubleshooting
  • Must-Haves

  • Helpdesk or porting experience
  • Friendly, patient, and reliable personality
  • Strong PC support and documentation skills
  • Ability to work any shift between 9 AM–10 PM, including weekends
  • Comfortable working onsite in the Perimeter area
  • Plusses

  • POS helpdesk experience
  • Porting knowledge
  • CheckPoint Firewall or networking troubleshooting
  • Spanish fluency
  • Growth Opportunity

    Top performers may be promoted to the Tier 2 team after a few years in the role. This is a long-term contract position (2–5 years) and will not convert to permanent employment.
