Unit : Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Start Date : September 29, 2025

End Date : December 29, 2025

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 8 Hour Days (6 : 30 AM – 3 : 00 PM); call required and split among nurses for 24 / 7 coverage

Hours per Week : 40

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2,070 - $2,450

Patient Ratio : 1 : 1

EMR System : PICIS / Medhost

Scrubs : Provided and laundered by hospital

CVOR Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (Registered Nurse)

Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR nursing experience

BLS and AED certifications required

CNOR and ACLS certifications preferred

Ability to float to Operating Room (OR) when CVOR cases are not scheduled

Strong documentation and workflow coordination skills

CVOR RN Responsibilities

Serve as circulating nurse in the CVOR, ensuring patient safety during open-heart and vascular surgeries

Maintain accurate documentation and support sterile field during cardiovascular surgical procedures

Coordinate workflow and collaborate with the surgical healthcare team

Float to general OR nursing duties as needed

Participate in call rotation for unit coverage

Uphold hospital standards for infection control and patient care
